Stormpaw, you shall be known as Stormfrost; StarClan honors your compassion.
Tidekit, Runningkit, Graykit, Birchkit, and Lightkit will become apprentices. From this point on, until you have recieved your warrior names, you shall be known as Tidepaw, Runningpaw, Graypaw, Birchpaw, and Lightpaw.

We also have some very sad news. *She sniffs.* Breezekit did not make the night and was too weak, so he. . . died. Tawnyfur has also died. She was protecting Darkeningkit and Sparrowkit and was bitten by an unusual snake. Please sit vigal for them tonight. *She said and dipped her head, then went to sit vigal herself.*

However happy Dawnfire was by her kits' finally becoming warriors, her heart lurched when she heard that Breezekit and Tawnyfur had died.
ReplyDeleteTalonswoop, touching Graypaw's nose, was bursting with pride and happiness of his first apprentice but was also terribly sad when he heard that one of his fellow clanmates and one kit had died.
Brookshadow crouched, mourning, beside Tawnyfur and Breezekit's dead bodies.
Stormfrost, Goldenfeather, and Swiftclaw stood proudly on the Highrock, but felt a melancholy feeling of happiness and sadness.
Darkeningkit crouched beside his siblings and father, unable to speak.

Tidepaw stepped up and nosed noses with his new mentor, Surgingfleet. His eyes shined brightly as his clanmates cheered and felt a prick of sadness of his adopted-fallen clanmates.
