Ever since this morning, my vision has been foggy and blurry. When I went hunting, I couldn't even catch any prey. Can you help me, Berrrysplash?" She sat down in front of Berrysplash with a worried look on her face.

(Fernstream is going to find out that she is going to have kits and I want to make this quick so im going to make berrysplash tell her, i dont really want to wait for you to comment, ember!) Berrysplash pads over to Fernstream and Fernstream says, "I don't know why, but i feel a bit....odd today," Berrysplash smiles and nods, knowing just what Fernstream is talking about, many she-cats have come to her and said that they feel odd and don't know why. "Lay down please, on your side," Berrysplash meows, so Fernstream says down, on her side. Berrysplash places her paw on Fernstream's belly. "You are going to have kits, Fernstream," she meows, taking her paw off Fernstream's belly. Fernstream stands up, speachless. "Um, thanks Berrysplash," she meows and padds out of the den. Berrysplash goes back to Dovecloud.

She picked up a pawful of feverfew. Does this cure infections or ???? (it doesn't) "I know that cobwebs get rid of blood, though!" She got a pawful and applied them to Windpaw's wound.
(she will NOT be a medicine cat apprentice. She's going to be a great fighter (aforementioned personality), and Mistywhisker already took the place).

Fernstream padded into the den with her sick kit. She set Sparkkit down. Sparkkit coughed hard, then was silent. "Berrysplash! Mistywhisker! Do you have any herbs? I think Sparkkit has whitecough! A very bad case of it!" Fernstream meowed, very worried. Sparkkit looked as though she was dead except for her very soft and shallow breathing. Every once in a while, she coughed very hard. Because she is only a kit, she could die. Fernstream was worried the medicine cats would be out of herbs, because she knew some probably got burned from the fire.

Stormfrost stepped into the medicine cat den with Goldenfeather for her ginger sister's claw that had been torn out by accident while they were hunting. Suddenly, she stopped, spotting Windpelt. "Hi, Windpelt. How are you doing?" For some strange reason, as she saw her pale fur so similar to hers, she felt a rush of friendliness and hatred all at once toward the she-cat.

Fernstream licked Sparkkit trying to keep her breathing. She was annoyed how Stormfrost and Goldenfeather where just chatting away while her kit was dying. "Sorry to be rude, but I think you are being rude by just standing there while my kit is dying! Goldenfeather I understand you tore a claw but you'll live! And what about Sparkkit!? She's too young to die! Help her! If she dies what will I tell Brambleheart and the other kits? The'll be heartbroken and so will I oh please help!!" Fernstream meowed frantically.

ReplyDeleteWindpelt glanced over to Berrysplash. "Do you know when I can get out of the medicine cat den? I-I think I can manage." Windpelt slowly stood up, wobbling on all four paws. She took a step and staggered to the side, but regained balance quickly.

Stormfrost padded in, a mouse in her jaws. "Here, Berrysplash. I know you've been working really hard, so I brought this for you," she meowed warmly, dropping the prey at the medicine cat's feet. Noticing Windpelt, she instantly brightened up. "Oh, hi, Windpelt! Nice seeing you again! I heard you'd be getting out of the Medicine Cat den soon, that's great news!" Stormfrost purred.
ReplyDeleteFernstream sat next to Sparkkit in the crouded den, refusing to leave her kit until she knew Sparkkit would be ok. After given coltsfoot, Sparkkit started to breath better, but she was still coughing. "Berrysplash, do you have anything for whitecough right now? If not could you please tell Wavepaw and Lilypaw to get some? Sparkkit is breathing better, but she still has whitecough!" Fernstream meowed.

Windpelt's smile faded as a familiar scent passed through the den. Her spine fur prickled at the familier scent, already having a threatening glint in her eye. "Willowbreeze!" Windpelt growled, and whipped around, spotting two blue eyes peeking out from some brambles.

Stormfrost narrowed her eyes at the two sister's confrontation, preparing to leap to her newfound friend's defense when she needed it. She growled under her breath, wishing she could get her sharp claws into Willowbreeze's stinking fur of dishonesty. This new anger surprised her; she wasn't usually this angry, it was mostly Swiftclaw that lost control of his emotions. >Not that I should be that surprised,< Stormfrost thought to herself. >There's no use trying to deny it- I've fallen in love with Greyfrost. Love's nothing I've felt before.<

After having some catnip, Sparkkit seemed to be getting better. Fernstream still didn't leave her kit's side though. She didn't want to move until she knew Sparkkit was ok. Fernstream licked Sparkkit's head and sparkkit let out a tiny cough, not a hard one. "You'll be just fine," she whispered to her kit.
