Mistfire and Icefrost's speaking woke up Dovecloud. "Hello?" she meows looking around. She sees Mistfire and Icefrost running off. "I wish I could go hunting, but it's hard for me to even get up!" Dovecloud says to herself and trys to go to sleep again.

Dovecloud can't sleep, and even though she could have her kits tomarrow, maybe even tonight, she desides to go for a walk to the Great Stone. She waddles out of the nursery and out of camp.

Dovecloud yowls loudly and before you know it there are 3 little balls of fur beside her. "Finally! she meows happily and begins licking her kits. She looks at them carefully. "They light grey tom will be Greykit. The white tom with black patches will be Birchkit. And the white she-kit with the ginger tabby tail will be Lightkit. Greykit, Birchkit, and Lightkit. I love them." she meows sweetly and continues to lick her kits.

After hearing word of Dovecloud's kits, Duskpaw decides to go see them. He doesn't want to disturb the queens, so he just takes a glance at them when he walks by.

Dovecloud is laying peacefully in the nursery, feeling much better now that her kits are born. She licks them gently as they suckle her milk. Dovecloud is a proud mother. She feels bad about yelling at Blackfire, she was just under a lot of stress at the time. "Next time I see him, I'll appologize," she says to herself, and continues looking after her newborn kits.

Dovecloud wakes to the mewling of her kits, they are now about a half-moon old. All of their eyes are open, but they can barely see and their eyes are still a blueish color, they are not the natual color yet. She licks them gently and them stretches, ready for a new day.

Dovecloud lays in the nursery with her kits. It has been about a moon since the kits were born. They are starting to see a little better, and their eyes are starting to change into their natural colors, but it still hard to tell what the natural colors are. They have grown quite a bit since they were born. Dovecloud his happy to see her kits growing so well.

Tawnyfur sighed, now remembering how she lost her memory. She'd just said good-bye to cloudriver, after telling him she was going to have his kits. After walking along the beach, a storm suddenly raged, and a massive wave sweept her into deep dizzying blackness, and something sharp on her head. And she woke up on the shore in Cloverclan's territory, memories temperarily forgotten.

Ravenpaw comes into the Nursery after the battle with Lakeclan to talk to Dovecloud. Dovecloud always likes to know what's going on and she probably hasn't heard what happened in the battle yet. He pads in and nods to Dovecloud. "Hello, Dovecloud," he meows as he lays next to her, " I thought you might like to know what happened at the battle with Lakeclan,"

Dovecloud nods, "I would love to," she meows excitedly, " PLease tell me all you know," She looks at ravenpaw and notices that the isn't badly hurt. "You don't look to hurt, was there much fighting?" Graykit, Birchkit, and Lightkit look up when they hear "fighting". They listen closely to Ravenpaw and Dovecloud's convorsation.

Ravenpaw begins, "Well, there was very much fighting at first," he stopped to take a breath, "I defeated a young apprentice, I don't know their name. An apprentice named Sorrelpaw was killed and I fought her sister, Strongpaw. Strongpaw was taking out her anger for Cloverclan killing her sister on me, and I told her....I told her....something I regret saying now, but I didn't regret it when I said it,"

Dovecloud stops him from continuing by saying, "What did you say to her? Please tell me,"

Ravenpaw nodded. "Okay, but only because it's kinda important. I told her that I didn't care about her sister, I didn't care about her, and that her clan desurves to be destroyed," he felt bad as he said the harsh words, then continued speaking, "She ran off crying and the battle kept going. I saw Dewstar lose a life, I wished I could help her, but I couldn't. Then I asked myself, why are he fighting anyway? Why do Lakeclan and Cloverclan hate each other? I spoke my mind and all cats agreed. The battle ended there. When the cats started to clear, we realized that Dreamstar was dead. Cloverclan was leaveing after appoligizing to Lakeclan. Lakeclan appologized to us, also. Before I left, I walked up to Strongpaw and appologized for everything. Then we went back to camp,"

Dovecloud nodded. " And when you got back, Dewstar lost her last life and Miststar became leader. Thank you for telling me,"

(Scratch that, Ravenpaw doesn't love Windkit or anything yet, noy sure if he will, not sure if he won't, but Ravenpaw loves no one at the moment. He just likes playing with kits.)
ReplyDeleteDovecloud wakes up to see her kits playing with each other on one side of her, they are about a moon and a half old, they can see almost perfectly,and their eyes are in full, natural color. Birchkit's eyes are a pale greyish color, Lightkit's eyes are a sky blue, and Graykit's eye color amuses her the most. Graykit's eyes are a very icy blue. On the other side of her, something seems to be going wrong. Berrysplash is in the den, Cloudfire is leaning over Tawnyfur, Tawnyfur was laying on the floor, and Tawnyfur's kits were staring at their mother. "What is going on? Is Tawnyfur ok?" she asks worriedly.

Graykit's brother Birtchkit is on top of him biting his ear. Graykit skakes and squerms trying to get him off. Birtchkit won't get off of his brother's back, so Graykit rolls over, squishing Birtchkit. While her brothers are playing, Lightkit stands back and watches. She giggles when Birchkit gets squished. "Okay, OKAY!" Birtchkit yowls, "You win, Graykit. NOW GET OFF ME!" Graykit gets up and laughs. "That was fun! What should we play now?" he mews. Lightkit looks like she is thinking. "How about we play with Mama's tail? That's fun," she says. The three kits look at each other and nod. They scamper over to their mother's tail and start batting at it playfully with their paws. Dovecloud doesn't mind, her attention is focused on what's happening with Tawnyfur. She swishes her tail so her kits are ocupied.

Graykit smiled at Fogkit. "Thanks!" he meowed happily, realizing he just made his first friend that's not one of his littermates. Graykit began to run away mewing "Chase me! Chase me, Fogkit!"

Tawnyfur nodded, and curled around Darkeningkit, who had fallen asleep, and fell asleep herself.

Graykit ran, and acedently bumped into Cloudfire and fell to the ground. Graykit stood up and shook off his pelt. He looked up at Cloudfire. "Sorry," he mewed shyly and ran around Cloudfire, hoping Fogkit didn't catch up when he fell.
