*Miststar padded out of her den to hear a crackling sound. It was a sound that had grown quite familiar in her dreams, but this time it wasn't a dream.*
Fire.
*The fire crashed through the camp entrance, leaving it in ashes. Miststar yowled in warning.*
Everyone. Get out of the camp! Hurry!!
*She quickly circled camp rushing cats out, going from den to den while the senior warriors found a way out of camp.*

*Miststar coughs as the leads her clan into camp, burnt and ruined. She leaped on High Ledge.*
Okay, first thing first. I think everyone's here, so I'll assign who'll work on re-making the dens. Stormwater, Rowanfoot, and Cloudfire will work on the apprentices' den. Berrysplash and Mistywhisker will repair their den. Leafpool and Lilypaw will collect herbs. The queens will fix the nursery and Lightclaw, Eaglefeather, Hazelberry, and Birchpelt will work on the warriors' den. Jaysong an Wavepaw, you'll make sure the elders' den is fixed. Last, Pumaclaw, organize hunting partols immediately.
*The cats nodd and start on their duties. She was just about to jump off High rock when Stormwater dragged a small, lifeless, and burnt brown tabby tom out of the apprentices' den.*

"Kits! Run!" Fernstream yowls to Whitekit, Shinekit, Nightkit, and Arrowkit. She dashes out of the nursery and dodges fire on her way to the Medicine Cat Den. "Sparkkit!" she calls to her sick kit. Fernstream grabs Sparkkit and runs out of camp, her other kits close behind.

Sunpaw stood cowered in fear as the flames engulfed the apprentices den. She quickly slipped out and some of the flames grazed her shoulder. She clenched her teeth but trudged on. She glanced over her shoulder to see to see the remaining bits of her camp in sadness.

The two sisters turned, their tails drooping, feeling horrible about not saving the camp.

Dapplepaw needed to get out of camp and be alone for a while. After asking permission, she headed out into the forest, and down tot he river. She sat up on the bank, watching the river calmly going around a bend and flowing away from her. As she stared at the water, something strange started to happen. The river was changing course and coming right toward her! She gasped and moved away, but the river just changed it's course again and started flowing towards her again. Panicking now, she leaped across the stepping stones and watched as the river gently flowed back into it's own path again. Cautiously, she headed back across, and waited, holding her breath. When it stayed the same, she let out a sigh of relief. Then she realized what she had done. "I moved water!" she whispered in astonishment. She tried to do it again, but this time, she stared at the river and thought "Go backwards, go backwards, go backwards." And it did! Something made a twig snap in the forest behind her, and she turned away from the water to see a squirrel. When she looked back, the river was flowing normally again. "If I don't concentrate, it stays the same," she murmured. "This must be part of the prophecy!" Then, suddenly overcome by her new talent, she raced back to camp to tell Miststar.

Goldenfeather, eyes wide, was running around the camp, checking for any more signs of the fire. Spotting Miststar, she launched herself towards her leader. "Wh-How did this happen? Will it happen again? We need to come up with a plan to properly evacuate if it happens again! Oh no, what do we do? We need to start repairing..."

"But she's right, you know," Stormfrost meowed, ever the calm and reasonable one like her mother. She looked at Miststar, half apologizing for giving a suggestion to her leader when it wasn't ever said allowed for her at the moment. "We do need to start repairing. I mean, with all the kits and elders and everything... including the dead..." she trailed off and bowed her head, knowing it hurt her leader a lot to see her son Molepaw dead.

"I was his mentor!" >He still had a great life to live!< Swiftclaw wailed silently, claws digging into the burnt forest floor. "I have failed! I didn't save my apprentice... Oh, Miststar is going to kill me..." He hung his head, knowing he deserved it.

I bet she has whitecough," Fernstream meowed, correct that Sparkkit had whitecough. "Kits, stay away from Sparkkit so you don't get sick, too. I have to get her Berrysplash and Mistywhisker, and hope that they have herbs.
